List of countries that do not require an apostille

An apostille is a simplified procedure for legalizing documents for use abroad, as provided for by the Hague Convention of 1961. However, for some countries, an apostille is not required due to bilateral agreements or other international treaties. Here is a detailed list of such countries:

  1. CIS countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
  2. European countries: All countries of the European Union, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain and others.
  3. Other countries: Australia, Israel, Japan, China, Vietnam.

These countries have concluded agreements that allow the use of documents without an apostille, which greatly simplifies international document flow. However, it is always recommended to check the current information at the consulate or on the official websites of the respective countries, as the lists may be updated.
